Spinal Decompression

Spinal decompression is a gentle, Chiropractic treatment procedure designed and used for low back pain. Flexion decompression is a traction based therapy in which the doctor is in full control of the treatment at all times. By decompressing the spine, we are able to increase disc space and decrease disc tension resulting in a very rapid relief in symptoms. Spinal decompression is safe and an excellent alternative to back surgery for the vast majority of patients that do not need surgical intervention. It may be used for many low back conditions including disc herniation, disc bulge, disc degeneration, sciatica, failed back surgery syndrome, and spondylolisthesis.
